Finally, I realized that most of this can be done with drag and drop with the exception of typing sudo and -volume: In the scan results, select the file (s) to preview and click the 'Recover' button to have them back. I have been trying to follow what seems to be simple instructions with no success for an hour. EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard for Mac will immediately scan your selected disk volume and display the scanning results.
