Due to the similarities between the Switch and the 3DS, Yuzu was developed as a fork of Citra. The Yuzu project was started in spring of 2017 by bunnei, one of the original authors of the popular Citra 3DS emulator, to experiment with and research the Nintendo Switch. The first game to run with 3D graphics on Yuzu was Minecraft: Story Mode. The first games to boot in the emulator were The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and Cave Story+. Yuzu can boot commercial games as of April 15th, 2018. Most of the development happens on GitHub, and more than 140 developers have already contributed to Yuzu's project on GitHub. Yuzu is free and open-source and is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Cant do anything about a crashes without being able to see any errors. Yuzu requires OpenGL version 4.3 or later to run. Yuzu can currently run select homebrew titles and certain commercial software. It is developed in C++ programming language. Yuzu is one of the first emulators of Nintendo Switch, developed by the Yuzu Team.
